Al Salt dei Mat: on April 22 end of season party in Bormio 2000

On Saturday April 22 the ski area of Bormio will be celebrating the closing of the winter season (scheduled for April 25) with a crazy party on the snow: "Al Salt dei Mat" (the jump of mads).

The event - located in Bormio 2000 - will replace the traditional "Pozza dei Mat" which will instead be back on 2018.

Al Salt dei Mat: jump and land on a giant soft air mattress

Customs want that the closing of Bormio's winter season may correspond to to an exuberant and fun party driven by a pinch of lucid craziness. The end of season event 2017 will keep all the features of the ten-year Pozza dei Mat (Pond of Mads) but bringing in a breath of fresh air with an hilarious format.

The participants will have to jump from a snow kicker with skis, snowboard or sled and try to catch an object - a plastic chicken - hanging in the air a few meters up. The more the chicken goes up in the sky the more the value of the wager increases: a lot of prizes will be given out among which a Bormio season ski pass 2017/2018 and a weekend in hotel in Rimini (RN).

The landing doesn't have to intimidate since it will be soft and safe: a giant air mattress (20 x 20 m) will soften the ground impact. Just one alert: the helmet will be mandatory.

The "Jury of Mads" will also assign a few special prizes to the most original and spectacular jumps. A professional team of entertainers will give the crowd a good time. From the stage in Bormio 2000 live music will bring fire to people's mood: dancing on the snow will be inevitable. For children a playground area with inflatable slides will be available.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
