The 2024 Easter holidays represent the last unforgettable days on the snow for those who love the mountains and spring days on skis.
At high altitude in Bormio the snow conditions are still excellent and will allow snow lovers to end the much-loved season with some great skiing.
After particularly positive months in terms of snowfall, the Bormio ski area will close its doors on Sunday 7 April 2024, but not before making this Easter unforgettable for those who love to spend it on skis.

Easter tradition in Bormio
Among the reasons for choosing Bormio at Easter, it is a must to mention the Pasquali tradition.
Considered the most important event of the year for the people of Bormio, for years it has also become an unmissable event for tourists.
During Easter morning all the inhabitants, dressed in traditional Bormio dress, accompany on their shoulders the numerous religious-themed allegorical sedan chairs, called "Pasquali", in a long parade along the streets of the town.
Every year the Easter celebrations are different, each creation is unique and unrepeatable and requires hours and hours of creation in the months preceding Easter. The Pasquali compete on behalf of the 5 districts of Bormio, better known as the departments of Buglio, Combo, Dossiglio, Dossorovina and Maggiore.
During the afternoon, in the Kuerc square packed with people, the popular jury awards the winner's prize to the best Pasquale of the year. The Pasquali event has ancient origins and is a truly special moment of the year that unites the entire community.

The 2024 Easter Program
8.45am – gathering of Easter Pasquali in Piazza V Alpini
10:00 am – parade through the streets of the town: via Al Forte, via San Vitale, via Roma, piazza Cavour 11.30am – blessing of the lambs and Easter cakes in Piazza Cavour
5.00pm – awards ceremony in Piazza Cavour
The Pasquali will remain on display until 7pm on April 1st
Lots of fun with the Winter Closing Party
Finally, on Saturday 6 April 2024, at Bormio 2000 we will celebrate the end of winter together with the Winter Closing Party. An opportunity to greet the end of this season together, with a long table, a lunch in company and musical entertainment. Live DJ Set by Max Benzoni and Andrea Casta for an unforgettable live violin show.
The party will continue at 6pm at Be White.
