On 31 August-1 September 2024 spotlights on the steep trails of the Bormio Bike Park which will be hosting the fifth stage of the Italian Downhill Cup.
A high-level event, not to be missed for the fans of this sport. With the best Italian riders in the race, the exciting descents and the beautiful setting of the Alps, it will be an amazing opportunity to attend a spectacular event.
The stages of the Italian Downhill Cup 2024
The "Coppa Italia" challenge takes place in 6 stages, a itinerant route that involves the entire Alps from May to September.
This is the calendar of the official 2023 locations:
- 1st stage | 4-5 May, Sestola
- 2nd stage | 25-26 May, Caldirola
- 3rd stage | 22-23 June, Prali
- 4th stage | 6-7 July, Madesimo
- 5th stage | 31 Aug.-1 Sep., Bormio
- 6th stage | 21-22 September, Val di Sole
The course of the fifth stage in Bormio
Bormio Ski is a perfect location for this type of race, with technical and demanding tracks that will test the skills of the participants.
The Valtellina stage will follow the trajectory drawn by two of the most famous tracks of the Bormio Bike Park.
The course that will host the fifth stage of the Coppa Italia DH involves the renovated Autobahn and Zombie tracks. The first is a real flow trail with a wide and very fast track with lots of "air time": jumps, doubles, sharks.
The second maintained some "natural" sections within the forest with roots and natural obstacles. There is no shortage of parabolic turns and wooden walkways.
Fun and adrenaline pumping until the last moment of the race with the athletes who will compete in a spectacular final jump before the finish line.
