Bormio Ski at the starting gates. The new ski season will officially begin on Saturday, December 3.
Despite an autumn marked by little snowfall and above-average temperatures that have put a strain on our work, we have rolled up our sleeves and are looking forward to opening the gates this weekend.
A long-awaited start that will allow skiers from all over Italy and beyond the Alps to put their skis back on and return to enjoy magnificent days on the snows of Valtellina.
Initially, a total of 9 km of ski runs will be open, from an altitude of 2,252 to 1,952 meters.
The snowmakers, under the guidance of technical director Michele Ballarini and slopes manager Giorgio Scuri, are working hard to significantly increase the offer for the Immaculate Conception holidays with the aim to open the entire ski area for the Christmas holidays.
A primary task among all, the opening of the Stelvio slope. To make it possible to reach the bottom of the valley - at an altitude of 1,225 metres - with skis on, and in order to get the venue ready for the next Alpine Ski World Cup races that the Valtellina resort will host on 28 and 29 December.

We will be open every day without breaks:

- BORMIO 2000 TICKET OFFICE from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- CABLE WAY BORMIO - BORMIO 2000 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- CABLE CAR BORMIO 2000 - CIMA BIANCA 3000 from 9:00 to 4:30 p.m. (open for pedestrians only)
- BORMIO RENTAL from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
