Ski touring on the slopes is over

Bormio. March 16, 2013 - Bormio Ski announces that the practice of ski touring will no longer be allowed on the Stelvio slope from 5.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. from Bormio to Ciuk due to the new spring weather trend which doesn't allow the grooming of the slopes after 10 at night.

We would like to remind you that since the beginning of the winter season BormioSki has recognized ski touring as an expanding activity and in order to meet the needs of the ski tourists we've been allowing this sport within a limited area and specific hours.

Unfortunately this privilege can't be guaranteed anymore and starting from today the snowcats will immediately go on work right after the closing of the slopes as it  had always been before. This means, as the Regional law says, that no one will be allowed to go ski touring on the slopes anymore after the closing of the ski area.

Looking forward for the respect of this new regulation,

we'd like to thank you for your collaboration.
