The King of Night, the first snowboard event of the year organized in collaboration with BMW Group Italia and Burton Italia, ended with the win of Marco Donzelli. The event was at its third edition and has reconfirmed to be one of the most important freestyle event in Italy. Snow did not stop the excitement of the big crowd on the bleachers at the Bormio Ski Stadium.
The snow so much awaited had finally come last night on the Stelvio slope, giving a magic atmosphere but making the contest a lot harder since visibility was very low. The riders has fought through this to the last trick in order to win the money prize of 5,000 €. Marco Donzelli is the winner thanks to a BS 720 FS Noseslide, followed by Andrea Bergamaschi, Filippo Crudeli and Fabio Pezzali. The new contest format, with new structures which gave the event a jibbing print, did not disappoint expectations of the riders and crowd, making the parterre a real freestyle arena!
Max Bianconcini and Leonardo Fini, FMX bikers of the Da Boot team and Jeson Cesco, snowmobile freestyle pilot, have set on fire the night of Bormio, giving un unforgettable show even the bad weather conditions.Great final at the end of the contest with a crossover session in which FMX riders, snowboarders and the snowmobile pilot had had jumped at the same time on the structures at the Ski Stadium.
