The new appearance of the cablecar Bormio 2000 - Cima Bianca illustrated by some snapshots which described the story of the mandatory inspection works to which the lift has been subjected.
The investment (over 2 millions €) is essential for the ski area of Bormio because the cablecar is the only lift that can carry pedestrians all the way to the top; from up there they can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Alps directly from the beautiful and cozy restaurant "Heaven 3000". The cablecar is also the only lift that can remain open in case of strong wind and it is fundamental in summer time for bikers to reach the peak of the mountain.
It is an historical lift; it has been open to public since July 10, 1969.
