The ski area of Bormio is very famous in the ski world for its peculiarities which are clearly evident: the big vertical drop (almost 1800 meters) and very technical slopes for the most demanding skiers. Those characteristics are nicely embodied by the two main events of the ski area: the Alpine Ski World Cup and the Peak to Creek, a race where the participant takes the challenge, in the most romantic sense, with the mountain.
Entertainment for families and youth finds its place with the slopestyle contest of the Braulio Vertical Tour and the end of season party organised by the sports group "Pozza dei Mat".
