MARCH 23, 2015 - BORMIO
Yesterday the first edition of "The Great Battle" took place at Snowpark Bormio. It was a great slopestyle contest thanks to the organization of Celso Sport and Bormio Ski. For more than two hours the riders had been battling showing their best tricks to the jury. Despite a few clouds, the weather had been nice throughout all the runs and the atmosphere had been absolutely fun. We saw twenty-two riders, aged among twelve to twenty-four years old. At the end of the contest this fantastic day continued with a tasty barbecue party.
For the records, in the Ski category the first place went to Joel Thomas Mascheroni (1997 Montesolaro - CO), second place to Andreas Bacher (1992 Selva Gardena - BZ) and third place to Michael Maiv Am Tinknof (1991 - Santa Cristina Valgardena - BZ). In the Snowboard category, first place to Giulio Agazzi (2000 Bergamo - BG), second place to Emanuele Pozzi (2003 Sondalo - SO), third place to Giorgio Invernizzi Ferro (2000 Varenna - LC). The prize for "Best Young Skier" went to Ambiel Denis Diego (born 2002 -Valdisotto SO).
