Trekking itinerary Sobretta Mountains: a marvellous day amoung the spruce prine forest in Bormio. Beautiful mountain views along the path.
From Bormio (Lombardy, Italy) get on the cableway which takes you to Bormio 2000 and from here start your trekking experience on the the dirt road S543 and then S543.1 which cross the ski slopes and takes you to La Rocca. Here you can find a few mountain huts where you can have a pleasant break for lunch.
Continue then on S542 towards Sobrettina and go down on S543 – S543.2 – S518 – S522 until you reach Sobretta di Sotto. The itinerary gets mostly flat from here on, except for a few gentle ups and down.
Proceed into the spruce pine forest and pass by Calvarana, Le Poce and Campolungo, turn right on a steep trail, S540, which takes you first to Feleit and finally to Bormio.
