The 3 gondole tour

E-bike e MTB Tour

The “3 Gondole” is a mountain bike and e-bike trail in Bormio – in Alta Valtellina – involving the 3 main lifts of the area:
1. in Bormio, the Bormio-Bormio 2000 cable car
2. in Valdidentro, the Isolaccia-Pian dela Mota cableway
3. in Santa Caterina, the cable car S.Caterina-Vallalpe

The 3 Gondole Tour can start indistinctly from one of the three locations.
In a clockwise direction, the route provides a relatively few meters of elevation gain to ride uphill.
The great climbs are made with the lifts that allow the transport of mountain bikes and e-bikes in comfort.

The route has a total length of 73 km to which are added the 7 km of ascent by cable car. The tour takes place mainly on dirt forest roads, trails, single trails and bike paths. It is required a technical preparation (especially for the descents) and athletic medium.

The estimated journey time varies greatly depending on your training and the ability to ride the MTB: it ranges from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 9 hours, lunch included.
