Bormio Ski informs that, due to the prolonged lack of snowfall and temperatures currently unsuitable for snowmaking, the opening of the San Colombano ski area, originally scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, has been postponed.
At this time, weather conditions do not allow the preparation of the slopes in accordance with the safety and quality standards required for opening.
Expected Opening Date
Bormio Ski expects, subject to weather conditions, to be able to open the ski area to the public starting from Friday, December 26, 2025.
Updates
The Cima Piazzi ski area, on the Valdidentro side, will open to the public starting Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Due to the partial opening of the area, the following daily rates will apply:
- Adult and senior daily pass €30.00 / 4-hour pass €25.00
- Junior daily pass €17.00 / 4-hour pass €15.00
- Free baby daily pass with a paying adult
The same rates will apply in the San Colombano ski area, on the Valdisotto side.
