News from the ski area

JANUARY 15, 2016 – BORMIO

The news you have been waiting for is official now: the great vertical experience of Bormio Ski is finally real. From tomorrow the legendary Stelvio slope, considered one of the most technical and spectacular ski runs of the world, will be open and this will allow you to try the amazing nosedive of our ski area: a stunning vertical drop of 1,800 meters from Cima Bianca (3,012 m) to Bormio (1,225 m).

The opening of the Stelvio is undoubtly providential for the endless ski run Peak to Creek, the amateur alpine ski race which will take place next Saturday (January 23). The registrations to the event will remain open until Wednesday.

Our snowmakers have been working profitably over the last few days thanks to the dramatic drop of the temperature. Very soon you will be able to ski on the easy ski run Bosco Basso. Our next goals are the slopes S. Ambrogio and Bimbi al Sole and Snowpark Bormio.
