Ski from peak to creek in Bormio! The valley run is open.

  4. Ski from peak to creek…

In Bormio everything is ready to host the “all adrenaline” ski race Peak to Creek at the end of January. The clients of the ski area can finally ski from peak to creek, as we like to say when referring to the opening of the valley run and the possibility to ski, from top to bottom, the whole vertical drop of the mountain.

Since last Saturday people have been skiing on the slope Bosco Basso which made the “vertical fun” of Bormio finally for real. Skiing on a 1,800-meter vertical drop is pure poetry for every ski fan. Dancing on the snow from 3,012 meters to 1,225 meters is a unique experience that you don’t exactly find everywhere.

From peak to creek. The event on January 28

On January 28, 2017 it will be race time from peak to creek. In fact, the ski area of Bormio will be hosting the twelth edition of the amateur alpine ski race Peak to Creek. If you want to join the endless ski run we suggest that you sign up now. Don’t miss out the opportunity to register at only € 25 (instead of regular price € 40). The offer is available until 12:00 am on January 13, 2017.

The registration fee includes the race pack which has many gadgets among which the wonderful Hello Winter t-shirt and the pizzocheri lunch at the Ski Stadium.

Stelvio slope: here we go!

We can’t deny it. There is no Peak to Creek, if there is no Stelvio: the legendary slope which has hosted 46 World Cup races and considered to be one of the most spectacular courses of the white circuit.

The Stelvio is currently open in the first part, by Canalino Sertorelli. In the next few days the slope should be open fully. By tomorrow the final schuss from Ciuk to Bormio might be already open. The part Carcentina-Ciuk will be open later.
