If you picked Bormio for your Christmas ski holidays you are going to have some great time in the Italian resort. Well known all over the globe for the Ski World Cup, Bormio was recently selected as the 2026 Olympic venue for the men alpine ski races.
You will find excellent snow conditions thanks to the 8 snowfalls which have hit this cozy Alpine town so far, for a total of more than 2 meters of snow.
The last snowfall was reported on 22 December.
Bormio Ski, defined as The Vertical Fun, offers an outstanding vertical drop of 1,800 meters. Skiers will already find available two funslopes for the entertainment of the whole family.
And from 26 December you will be able to see live for free the World Cup races on the Stelvio with a renovated programme.
Bormio Ski World Cup 2019
- 26 December 2019 – First official Men’s DH training
- 27 December 2019 – FIS Alpine Men’s DH race
- 28 December 2019 – FIS Alpine Men’s DH race
- 29 December 2019 – FIS Alpine Men’s Alpine Combi: SG
We’d like to remind you that you can watch the races for free: from the piste’s border, at the parterre and from the grand stands. No ticket is available.
