Approach freeriding in safety! Go off-piste with a mountain guide or a ski instructor. Always check the avalanche bulletin, gear up with ARTVA, backpack, probe and shovel. Stop in Bormio 2000 to verify if your avalanche beacon is functioning by trying the ARTVA check.
Our ski area offers two wide areas where going off-slope is totally worth it: the Vallone and the Posto degli Sciatori!
